The use of our website is usually possible without providing personal information. As far as on our sites personal data (for example name, address or E-Mail addresses) are raised, this always takes place voluntarily, as far as possible. These data will not be disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent.
 
Please note that data transmission over the Internet (for example, when communicating via e-mail) may have security vulnerabilities. A complete protection of the data from access by third parties is not possible.

2.1    Paper documents:

  • Registrations and documents of certified divers are archived for the current plus one calendar year.
  • Registrations, documents and training records of students (new diving licences) are archived for 7 years.
  • Discover scuba diver registrations will not be archived but will be safely destroyed within one week after the activity.
 

2.2   Digital forms

  • The forms on our homepage are provided by our service provider DWFormmailer (https://www.dw-formmailer.de). For the purpose of transmission and processing, the data is forwarded to the servers of DWFormmailer. The operator of this Internet portal is Wolfgang Dürr (sole proprietorship), In den Kehlen 4, 97342 Marktsteft, Germany. An agreement on commissioned data processing is in place with the service provider.
  • Registrations and documents are archived for the current plus one calendar year.
  • Registrations, documents and training records of students (new diving licences) are archived for at least 7 years.

After expiry of these periods, the data and all backup copies will be deleted.

 
 

3.    Medical data:

 

Only healthy people are allowed to go diving. If an appropriate proof can not be provided (medical certificate, irreproachable self-statement), the guests are requested not to transmit health data. Thus, sensitive medical data is not recorded or archived in any form.

 
 

Newsletter data

 
 

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need you to provide an e-mail address, as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of  the e-mail address and that you agree to receive the newsletter.

To ensure your agreement to receive the newsletter, we use the double-opt-in procedure.

How does it work: The potential recipient will be included in a distribution list. Followed by that, the user receives a confirmation e-mail, asking him to confirm the subscription, compliant to the General Data Protection Regulation.

Only when the confirmation is made, the address is actively included in the distributor.

We use this data exclusively for the delivery of the requested information and offers. As Newsletter Software Brevo is used. Your data will be transmitted to Sendinblue GmbH. Sendinblue is prohibited from selling and using your data for purposes other than sending newsletters. Sendinblue is a German, certified provider, which was selected according to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and the Federal Data Protection Act.

The granted consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter can be revoked at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter.

 
 

Video surveillance

In the entrance area of the divebase there is a security camera. This camera is for security purposes only. If the camera registers movement out of our regular opening hours:

  1. a) It will send snapshot pictures (no video, no sound) by e-mail to the management of Stollis Dive Center. These emails and pictures are automatically deleted after 30 days.
  2. b) It will store short video sequences on the integrated memory card. These sequences are automatically deleted / overwritten when the maximum storage capacity is reached. (about every 3 weeks).
 
 

Facebook-Plugins (Like-Button)

 
On our pages plugins of the social network Facebook, provider Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA, are integrated. The Facebook plugins can be recognized by the Facebook logo or the "Like-Button" ("Like") on our site.
